Clinic Appointments consist of an extensive assessment and treatment of your condition. By carrying out a structured assessment it enables the physiotherapist to treat and compile an individual rehabilitation programme.
APPI Modified Pilates Classes are instructed by a Chartered Physiotherapist within the clinic. These Classes are currently aimed at both beginners and advanced level. The clinic also offer Ante/Postnatal Pilates Classes. Pilates is a method of exercise designed to improve abdominal and back strength, improve posture and prevent back and neck pain.

Baby Massage Course
The Clinic offers excellent Baby Massage Courses for both Parents/Caregivers. The Parents/ Caregiver massage their own baby using a specifically designed series of strokes. This series combines Indian and Swedish massage along with Reflexology techniques and some gentle yoga based exercises into a routine designed to be beneficial for infants. Course fully refundable by most healthcare providers.
Women’s Health issues may arise for a variety of reasons but a large majority tend to occur with pregnancy, such as pelvic dysfunction or incontinence. I work with you to assess the problem you are having and will then create an individualised treatment plan specific to your needs. Depending on your condition, the treatment plan will involve certain exercises that will get you working the right muscles to counteract the issues you are experiencing.
Kilbeggan Physiotherapy and Pilates Clinic offer pitchside and team physiotherapy service to local teams at both club and county level. The Clinic currently works with Mullingar Rugby Club, CCFL, Westmeath GAA including Minor Football team and All Ireland Champion Robbie McCarthy, Westmeath LGFA, Leinster Rugby Development Squads.
Those at risk of falls include 1 in 3 women and 1 in 5 men. The Clinic offers exercise classes for the elderly, The Clinic also offers advise and treatments to assist in conditions such as osteoporosis and osteoarthritis in order to prevent hospitalization.
MUMMY MOT Assessment
The Mummy MOT is a specialist post-natal assessment recommended for all women following delivery – whether 6 weeks or many years after. Already part of every new mother’s standard post-natal rehabilitation in France, trained specialists assesses the strength and function of the tummy and pelvic floor muscles to help prevent long-term childbirth related complaints.
Acupuncture is a safe, drug free intervention and relatively painless procedure in which very fine needles are inserted at particular acupuncture points on the body to relieve the symptoms of various physical and psychological conditions, particularly for both acute injuries and chronic conditions resilient to other treatments. Electroacupuncture is also available at Kilbeggan Physiotherapy and Pilates Clinic.
